BOPP film extrusion is among the most demanding applications for melt filtration: the biaxial stretching process amplifies any contamination or pressure instability present in the melt into visible defects in the finished film. Continuous self-cleaning filtration — with melt pressure held within ±2% — is the only viable operating mode for high-speed BOPP lines at throughputs of 500–2,000 kg/h.
